The Urban League of Greater Miami, Inc. seeks a President and Chief Executive Officer to manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of the non-profit social service organization. An Affiliate of the National Urban League, the Urban League of Greater Miami, Inc works to improve the economic, cultural, social, and educational conditions affecting all citizens in the city of Miami and surrounding communities. As an Affiliate of the National Urban League, it reaches nationwide audiences and partners with other Urban League Affiliates making it a strong proponent for programs that can be replicated across the country.

The President and Chief Executive Officer serves as the chief administrator and is responsible to the Board of Directors/Trustees; demonstrates the ability to develop, articulate and communicate the vision of the Affiliate; provides leadership to the organization, administering its functions and operations; assists in the development of short- and long-range objectives; acts as principal spokesperson, and in conjunction with the Board Chair, generates new ideas and leads through completion; initiates and maintains relationships with staff, board, political, corporate and community leaders; keeps abreast of issues facing the African-American and minority communities; establishes agenda items and outlines each into action items for completion; forms a disciplined approach to achieving goals and objectives; and engages in dialogue across race, gender, sexual orientation, economic, and other differences.

The National Urban League is seeking a Senior Director, Technology & Telecommunications in the National Urban League Washington Bureau. Reporting to the Executive Director and Senior Vice President for Policy and Advocacy, the Senior Director, Technology & Telecommunications oversees the execution of the National Urban League’s policy engagement in the technology, telecommunications, and media industries. The successful candidate will have knowledge of trends and major developments in privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and other issues that affect these industries. Working within the Washington Bureau, the Senior Director will be responsible for refining strategies to champion public policy initiatives at the Federal, State, and Local levels that promote economic and social justice in the technology, telecommunications, and media industries.

The National Urban League seeks a dedicated Director, Financial and Housing Policy, to join our Washington Bureau, reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Washington Bureau. The Director will design, develop, and implement policy programs within their areas of responsibility, focusing on financial services, economic development, and housing policy. The Director will advocate on Capitol Hill, in the Executive Branch, and within the policy community, providing guidance and support services to both the economic and housing programming staff and the affiliate movement. As a key member of the Washington Bureau team, the Director will help develop and implement the National Urban League’s federal agenda and provide strategic advice.

The National Urban League seeks a dedicated Manager, Workforce and Education Policy to join our Washington Bureau, reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Washington Bureau. This role is pivotal in advocating for education and workforce policies that align with the Urban League's mission to enable African Americans and other underserved urban residents to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights. The Manager will develop strategies, conduct research, engage with Congressional and Executive Branch entities, and support our affiliates with the aim of advancing our priorities in education and workforce development.
